Street Chaplaincy is about being present when life gets overwhelming. Chaplaincy is supremely about caring for others without strings attached. Its not about speaking at people, but being alongside, often listening, at times offering assistance to people.
To become a Street Chaplain you need to be 18+, a current church member and willing to undergo our comprehensive training programme. In addition, a working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
All individuals need to complete a Senior First Aid course before graduating as a fully fledged Street Chaplain.
